Thesis: Decolonization in Africa and India both had different reprecussions that each changed those countries. Through Political, economical and Social aspects, Africa and India dealt with WW2 and its results in seperate manners.

The death of Ghandi led to war between India and Packistan.
The lack of government representitives led to India's need for independence.
India was seperated into seperate Hindu and Muslim states.
India gained independence; Britian gave India back to its native people.
Ghandi attempted to create a free India through a non-violent movement.
Ghandi was killed by a Hindu who wanted to maintain the hostile relationship between Hindus and Muslims
Ghandi protested against colonization until WW2, which disturbed the process of decolonization.

The U.S. and Soviet Union loaned money and food to Africa in an attempt to influence them to adopt their ideology.
Africa borrowed large sums of money from various nations, bankers, and companies.
However, the borrowed money did not rehabiliate the devastated economy.

India
Religious hostilities that existed between the Hindus and the Muslims.
India was partitioned.
A new independent state known as Pakistan was created.

Social issues such as education, health care, and political stability were ignored.
Blacks and Whites were separated.
Decolonized Africa lost many of its social institutions.
